The Michael Gibson Gallery is experienced in conducting appraisals and is associated with the Art Dealers Association of Canada (A.D.A.C.). The gallery specializes in appraising paintings and drawings by Canadian artists of historical and contemporary periods.

The gallery prepares professional valuations of original fine art and framing for the following purposes:

• to ascertain suitable insurance coverage;

• to determine appropriate values for insurance claims;

• to facilitate certified cultural property donations, charitable donations, and gifts to Canada; and

• to assist in fair division of property cases (i.e. divorce settlements, estate handling, business dissolutions).
