This exhibition demonstrated Vaandering's continuing exploration of photographing business professionals in today’s working society. He has added new vibrant colours to images of walking, floating, flying and twisting figures silk-screened onto Baltic plywood. The paintings are visually stimulating, extremely playful, yet poignantly reveal Vaandering’s ability to reflect contemporary society.
Vaandering was born in 1959 and received his BFA from the University of Western Ontario. Vaandering has exhibited across Canada and is part of numerous public and private collections in Canada, the US and the United Kingdom.
