Scott Conarroe

Londons          June 8-30, 2007

Known for his urban portraits of Halifax, Vancouver, and London, Scott Conarroe captures a vivid image of the places where we live, work and play through his ambient photographs.

Conarroe is interested in the change of seasons and times of day when the light is most radiant.  His long exposure times and abandoned / birds-eye-view perspective allows for extremely atmospheric, glowing images.

Photographs of the Thames river, Eldon House, JLC, train tracks and urban neighbourhoods were included in the exhibition.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1974, Conarroe earned a BFA from the Emily Carr Institute (2001) and a MFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (2005).
