| Appraisals The Michael Gibson Gallery offers professional advice on your specific insurance, estate planning and donation appraisal needs. As a member of the Art Dealers Association of Canada, we appraise contemporary and historical Canadian and international art. For more information, please click here. Buying or Selling We actively acquire contemporary and historical paintings and works on paper of artists of historical importance. We will also sell artwork on a client's behalf. Please contact us for a private consultation to determine your options. Delivery and Shipping Packing services and worldwide shipping is available. Note: For clients living outside of Canada: original artwork by a living Canadian artist is exempt from the goods and services tax and the provincial sales tax when shipped out of Canada. On Approval We offer the option of ‘living’ with your chosen artwork at home for a day or more at no obligation. This allows clients to view the artwork in their own environment before making a final decision. Clients from out of town can also take advantage of this option. Payment Terms We can offer you flexible payment terms in order to accommodate your specific needs. This can allow for the acquisition of a piece of art that does not at first appear to be feasible (affordable), but is quite manageable when payments are spread over a period of several months. |
