New "Screen" collage works by Montreal artist Jerome Fortin.

Born in 1971, Fortin transforms and recycles everyday objects by weaving them into his artworks. His new work entitled "Ecrans" (Screens) are tightly woven geometric paper collages. He uses novels, colouring books, telephone books, comic strips and city maps as his source material. By folding the paper, the repeated triangular shapes become topographical mazes, some even with evident horizon lines.
In memory of Brian Jones 1950 - 2008

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Jones, cherished husband, talented painter, music lover and loyal friend to many.

We will never forget his unique point of view and his playful subject matter. He was definitely a child at heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Collingwood at the Fawcett Funeral Home on Saturday March 8, 2008 at 11:00am.
