Howard Hodgkin

Howard Hodgkin‘s (1932-2017) “Venice: Evening” is one of four imaginary views of Venice at a different time of the day.  Among his most complex prints, “Venice: Evening” is executed on sixteen separate sheets and hand coloured with watercolour.  Rich and evocative, the print exudes a distinct mood and immediate emotion of a specific place. Claude Tousignant

Montreal artist Claude Tousignant is one of the pioneers of Canadian geometric abstraction and a member of the non-representational art movement “Les Plasticiens”.  His popular “targets” feature bands of chromatic colours juxtaposed in order to create a rhythm and optical illusions. Henry Moore
